Just In: FBI Just Sent Russian Dossier Author an Offer He Can’t Refuse — It’s Happening!

The Daily Wire is reporting that Christopher Steele, a former British spy who was hired by Fusion GPS to create the anti-Trump dossier, is being ordered to appear before the FBI and DOJ for making alleged false statements to “investigators about his communications with journalists in the U.S. about the dossier.”

On a late January 5 afternoon, Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sent both agencies letters stating, “Based on the information contained therein, we are respectfully referring Mr. Steele to you for investigation of potential violations of 18 U.S.C. § 1001, for statements the Committee has reason to believe Mr. Steele made regarding his distribution of information contained in the dossier.”

Grassley followed this up with a statement that said, in part, “I don’t take lightly making a referral for criminal investigation. But, as I would with any credible evidence of a crime unearthed in the course of our investigations, I feel obliged to pass that information along to the Justice Department for appropriate review.”

McCain BFF, Graham, also gave some comments regarding the decision:

“After reviewing how Mr. Steele conducted himself in distributing information contained in the dossier and how many stop signs the DOJ ignored in its use of the dossier, I believe that a special counsel needs to review this matter.”

Oh, double damn! Pass me the melted butter and a soda! This is getting good!

The news comes the same day that a federal district judge refused a request by Fusion GPS to stop Congressional investigators from looking at its banking records in the expectation that they will show that possibly ten law firms may have contributed to the Dossier’s funding and/or contents.

Enjoy Patriots! You may be watching the highwater mark of the Clinton Crime spree and maybe, JUST maybe, the tide begins to turn inexorably to jail for a host of these scum bags!
