The ever-delusional Kellyanne Conway is now calling an eye roll by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper an example of the “sexism” she faces with when she’s interviewed by the media.
In an interview with Fox & Friends Thursday morning, the president’s top adviser tried to compare Hillary Clinton’s experiences of sexism to her own, saying:
‘Hillary Clinton is in search of sexism as a lame excuse for why her disastrous candidacy and campaign lost six months ago. I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that.’
Seriously? Is she honestly that delusional that she believes Cooper’s reaction is sexist, and not just because whatever comes out of her mouth is totally whacked that people can barely form a coherent thought, let alone control their facial expressions?
Yikes. She’s actually bonkers.
According to Conway, the eye roll only happened because she works for a Republican. Because, you know, sexism doesn’t occur in other parties; it’s merely limited to females within the Republican party. She went on to try to imagine the same thing happening to Hillary Clinton or a similar female representative, saying:
‘Could you imagine … having a male anchor on the network roll eyes at Hillary Clinton, at somebody — a female representative spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton? I think not.’
The original segment, in which Cooper rolled his eyes, was from a Tuesday interview regarding President Trump’s unprecedented firing of former FBI Director James Comey. Cooper played several clips of Trump prior to the election, bumping along the campaign trail, praising Comey for his investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s emails.
Conway, however, seemed to disagree that Trump was ever a fan of the former FBI director.
‘You are conflating two things that don’t belong together. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was on your show often last fall saying we were going to win Michigan and how we were going to do it.’
Conway should thank her lucky stars that an eye roll is all she got. Most of us wouldn’t have had as much self-control as Cooper.
